Date & Dish

So I’ve set a date with German guy for coffee tomorrow night. I feel pretty good about the decision I’m making. I basically want to say three things:

1. I really like you and enjoy spending time with you.
2. Being in this in-between, what-are-we-doing place is not what I want right now.
3. If at some point you’re in a different place, and you’d like to work on either a friendship or more than a friendship with me, feel free to contact me.

I really wish him the best in figuring things out. Some of my friends have kindly said they hope he figures out that I’m cooler than his ex.

I should get that made into a t-shirt: I’M COOLER THAN YOUR EX.
