So…do you wanna make out?
Published by Red 4 years, 1 month ago in DishesI wasn’t going to dish about my last date, but after reading the last few posts, I thought I should share the love. I was actually out with someone last night that I didn’t meet online. Can you believe it? “Mr. Social” and I met through mutual friends a couple of weeks ago at a small dinner party, and after a few emails, texts and phone calls, decided to go out on our very own.
Mr. Social is a very extroverted guy. At moments, he makes me feel like a timid wallflower - which I assure you, I am not. But sometimes, when someone is so extroverted, I don’t feel like competing. So I revert to my more introverted self and just enjoy the show.
We wound up grabbing some sushi for dinner and it is very fair to say that Mr. Social is always joking around - he’s a rather big goof to be honest, which I find endearing. But it’s hard to tell if he’s ever serious, since so much is said in jest. I would say there was a lot of flirting on his part, but then again, he’s such a friendly guy that I couldn’t distinguish flirtines from friendliness.
After dinner, we went to have another drink, where more flirty friendliness ensued and then he drove me back to my apartment. He pulled up in the driveway, turned off the ignition and then said, “so, do you wanna make out?” I was floored. Were we in high school? Was he joking? Was he serious? Did this approach actually work for him in the past?
I kind of just sat there, in total self-conscious awkwardness. I didn’t know what to say! But he took the lead and just planted one right on me. Again I was surprised, but just kinda went with it and laughed. Mr. Social certainly has a weird approach, tinged with confidence and Listerine breath strips. But hey, he’s an original and I like that.
LMAO!!!!!!!!
That’s hilarious!
Was it good?
My knees didn’t buckle………but then again, I was laughing pretty hard myself!
